The president of Paraguay, Fernando LugoFernando Lugo, visited Brazil for a cancer checkup after canceling his trip to Lima for the investiture of the new president of Peru, Ollanta Humala.Lugo is a treatment for lymphatic cancer was diagnosed in August 2010 and traveled a day earlier than scheduled for a checkup in the Syrian-Lebanese hospital in Sao Paulo.The sources gave no details on the rescheduling of the trip Lugo, who resumed on Wednesday after its official activities to rest on Monday and Tuesday due to flu symptoms.Is expected to return to Asuncion for the weekend.
